CHOREOGRAPHER

Inclusivity, originality, and collaboration — three pillars I aim to stand on in my work. I create environments through movement, while simultaneously bringing awareness to topics such as culture, religion, politics, mental health, climate change, otherworldly figures, and the basic lifestyles and patterns of humanity.
I find joy in creating athletic, quirky, eccentric, vigorous, and shape-driven contemporary dance with a heavy theatrical influence. I aim to create work that challenges norms and combines all mediums of art, making the experience immersive rather than stationary.
How can we create work that challenges abstract influence and yet unites communities through shared knowledge? That is a question I often ask in my work. Maybe it makes sense, maybe it doesn’t — but my ultimate goal is that, when audience members watch my work, they feel as though they were part of an experience rather than just a pair of eyes.

"Closing the show was Hannah Weinmaster's masculine atychiPhobia. The atmosphere was enticingly edgy, and the all-male ensemble of non erupted with kinetic vigor. They did not come to mess around. The speed and complexity of some gestural actions, and pure athleticism of others, was so high-octane that I had to remind myself to close my mouth (I think that my jaw did drop)." - Young Choreographers Festival 2024
